Dreams Come True

Hope visits penguin cove

Hope’s dream was really simple - all she wanted was a holiday in the UK to spend some quality time with her family. Dreams Come True sent 13-year-old Hope and her family to an idyllic cottage in Dorset with its own private pool.  Hope has a chronic lung condition which unfortunately requires several trips to hospital which means she misses a lot of school. Just spending time on the beach relaxing and playing with her family has given Hope an amazing boost to her confidence.

Despite her serious health issues, Hope thinks of other children who are in hospital and has raised money to help buy some hand-held consoles, board games and crafts for the children’s ward.

On holiday, Hope managed to pack in lots of sight-seeing including the Sea Life Centre in Weymouth as well as strolling along Dorset’s breath-taking coastline and thankfully the weather was just perfect.

“To all at dreams come true, Hope and all of us as a family can’t thank you enough for Hope’s magical dream of a luxury cottage stay with a personal pool, it truly was an amazing experience for the whole family. We had a fantastic time as a family taking much needed time out going on beach walks, visiting magical places around the Dorset area such as the sand world, sea life centre and the tower. This has given Hope an amazing boost and sense of self a-steam giving a welcome break from hospital visits, and appointments she injures so regularly. A huge thank you once again from us all.”

Rob Brown Brilliant story. It's what any one who has given anything to DCT wants to see and hear.
