Miranda Kennett is an executive coach and journalist who joined the Board in February 2016.
She brings skills gained in publishing, advertising, training and development to support the efforts of the energetic, effective staff of Dreams Come True.
As a coach with over 20 years experience she works with individuals and management teams from a diverse range of sectors in the private, public and third sector, helping them to be more effective in their professional lives and more fulfilled personally. Having launched and run her own high-profile coaching business for 11 years, she now provides coaching and facilitation through The Kennett Consultancy.
For 14 years she was a business ‘agony aunt’ with her monthly column First Class Coach for Management Today and she is still a contributing editor.
Her charity fundraising experience includes treks to Peru, China and the High Atlas Mountains of Morocco, as well as cycling from London to Paris.
She is an active member of Women in Communications, London (WACL) and was responsible for launching an annual event for younger women in 1996 (Gather) that has since succeeded in inspiring several thousands of attendees to survive and thrive in the challenging environment of the communications industry.
