I am delighted to have joined the Trustee Board at Dreams Come True.
I am now ‘semi-retired’ after a career that was mostly spent in the airline and financial services businesses. I started out as a Management Trainee at British Airways and after ten years moved to the City and worked for a variety of Retail and Investment Banks. A great deal of my time has been spent in HR Director positions although I have held other positions and developed a specialism in managing large change programmes such as new business start-ups or mergers and acquisitions.
I have some experience in working with charities. In the past I was on the Board of The Berkshire Blind Society and for some years chaired The Ways and Means Trust, a local mental health charity. I am currently a trustee of a large Greyhound rescue Charity.
Outside of work my interests include following Reading FC where I have been a season ticket holder and supporter for over forty years. I travel extensively which I often combine with a passion for history. I am married to Elizabeth who is a full time carer for her 94 year old mother.
I look forward to working with the Board and staff of Dreams Come True.
