Glenys Kirkpatrick

I first started supporting Dreams Come True as a fundraiser in 2012 when I went on The Great Wall of China Trek. I then became a volunteer and have worked at events including London Marathon, Hamleys children’s party, Petersfield lights switch on and various fetes. I also do leaflet drops and bits and pieces in the office. Having had experience myself of looking after seriously handicapped children I find the charity so positive, for the children and the families.

My first job was as an assistant air traffic controller for the RAF. After having my family, I later worked as a facilities manager for 26 years.

I have always been very sporty and have completed many marathons, treks and long distance cycles over the years.
