Dance troupe raises funds to help more local dreams come
Inverkip dance group the L J Dance Troupe have raised £725 for the local Dreams Come True Inverclyde charity to help more local dreams come true.
Organiser Lynn Anderson said, ‘Each year we pick a charity that helps children who are not as fortunate as our own children and this year we picked Dreams Come True Inverclyde and are delighted to have raised the sum of £725. The funds are raised with the help of our parents and a raffle and we are very grateful to local Inverkip, Gourock and Greenock businesses which have helped by way of providing raffle prizes.’
For the charity, local coordinator Chris Jewell said, ‘We are very grateful to LJ Dance raising such a large sum to help more dreams come true. We are keen for as many youngsters as we can aged 2-21 in Inverclyde with life limiting medical conditions to benefit from a dream and we would encourage nominations for a dream through the Dreams Come True website www.dreamscometrue.uk.com or through our Dreams Come True Inverclyde Facebook page. Or telephone me on 01475 783000.’
