How can your company get involved?
That depends on you. We work in different ways with different companies - there is no ‘one size fits all’. We have years of experience of working in partnership with companies to develop fundraising plans that not only help us fulfil more dreams but will also help your company to achieve its goals.
"We have vast experience of working with charities and have never experienced such committed and innovative account management. The team are passionate about service standards, motivation, flexibility and are highly professional despite their size."
We will keep you up to date with all of the dreams that you are helping to fulfil, working with you to engage with your colleagues and communicate about your charitable activity.
Take a look at some of our current corporate partners and see how we have been working together and what they say about us.
Here are a few suggestions of ways that we could work together.
Charity of the Year
Make Dreams Come True your Charity Partner of the Year and we can help you organise a programme of activities throughout the year. You can enter teams into our events, hold your own events such as dances or bespoke challenges, or run simple fundraising schemes at work.
How many times have you heard the phrase dream come true in business?
Dreams are a powerful concept. Aligning your brand to a charity that fulfils dreams and aspirations will have positive implications on your brand perception.
Brand partnerships can take on a number of forms including:
- Inclusion on your product packaging
- Joint marketing of a specific product or service
- Donation of a percentage of profits to the charity
Volunteering and Pro-Bono Opportunities
Staff volunteering can be extremely rewarding and can increase staff morale, teamwork and provide opportunities to gain experience.
Volunteering opportunities include:
- Undertaking pro bono work
- Helping with a fundraising event
- Providing contacts to help make a dream come true

You can be recognised as a sponsor of Dreams Come True in a number of ways. Sponsoring an event or a range of charity information (e.g. newsletters, factsheets and events booklet), can be a fantastic advertising opportunity.
Payroll Giving is a flexible scheme which allows anyone who pays UK income tax to give regularly and on a tax free basis to the charities and good causes of their choice. Payroll Giving donations are deducted before tax so each £1 you give will only cost you 80p, and if you're a higher rate tax payer it will only cost you 60p. Payroll Giving (also known as Give As You Earn or workplace giving) is a valuable, long term source of revenue, providing regular income to help charities budget and plan ahead more effectively. Employees can choose to support us with a regular donation direct from their pay.
Company Tax Relief
Your limited company pays less Corporation Tax when it gives the following to charity:
- Donating money
- Land, property or shares in another company (shares in your own company don’t qualify)
- Employees (on secondment)
- Sponsorship payments
You can claim tax relief by deducting the value of your donations from your total business profits before you pay tax.
