Mia's Story

I am sure you will see on the photo how taken she was with the dolphin and they certainly had a special connection. Mia also loved meeting all of the characters at Disney World and was a complete thrill seeker on all of the fast rides! Thank you again, we really have had the time of our lives.”

Ten year old Mia has Downs Syndrome, Asthma and has had a bowel operation. Mia’s Asthma has meant that she has fairly frequent chest infections and on occasions needs oxygen overnight to maintain reassuring oxygen levels.

Mia and her family wanted to go to Florida and we were delighted to help organise the trip for them.

The email received from mum says it all “I just want to send a quick message to say a huge big thank you to yourself and Dreams Come True, to have made it possible for Mia to swim with dolphins.Mia, together with her brother Dylan and sister Beau, stayed at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort before going on to Sand Key, Clearwater to enjoy the famous white beaches there.

We have had the most amazing time and as a family would never have had such a holiday without the assistance that we received from yourselves. There were so many magical moments and we have some wonderful memories to treasure.

I am sure you will see on the photo how taken she was with the dolphin and they certainly had a special connection. Mia also loved meeting all of the characters at Disney World and was a complete thrill seeker on all of the fast rides!

Thank you again, we really have had the time of our lives.”
