London Summer Walk

Walk 25km and explore some of the Capital’s less known historic areas with a tour of the ‘gateway to London’ along the Thames’s eastern section. Starting alongside the grandeur of Woolwich Royal Artillery Barracks, the looped route heads down to the Thames, through Woolwich Tunnel and into Docklands. It’s back under the River via the Greenwich Foot Tunnel, past the Cutty Sark and a rest stop at the Old Naval College. Then along the Thames to the Greenwich Peninsular, past the O2 and the Thames Barrier, through Charlton and back to basecamp in Woolwich.

Your entry includes free snacks and drinks at the rest stop, support including medics and marshals, plus a souvenir Summer Walk neck buff. As you cross the finish line, you'll get a medal to commemorate your achievement plus can enjoy the music, bar and free BBQ.

You have 2 options when signing up for a place to support Dreams Come True:

1. Charity Sponsorship – pay a small registration fee, do lots of fundraising and we cover the cost of your event place!

25km: Reg fee £20 and fundraising target £240

2. Mixed Funding – pay half of the event place cost yourself, fundraise a bit less and we pay the balance of the event place cost.

25km: Reg fee £50 and fundraising target £150

South West Coast 50 Challenge

Get your heart racing with a 160ft or 300ft Bungee Jump and choose from fantastic locations across the UK.

Make A Referral

We only accept referrals from medical, healthcare, or social care professionals. Applications are on a first come first served basis, to ensure that no child is waiting too long for delivery of their dream.

What is a Dream?

Whether it's a break for a young cancer patient, a specially adapted trike for a child with cerebral palsy, a tablet to help an autistic teenager develop their communication skills, or a seriously ill child’s room makeover. How it works

We work exclusively with, and only manage dream referrals from, those who know the Dreamers best –medical, healthcare and social care professionals.
Eligibility Criteria

To ensure we reach the children who need our attention the most, we have a set eligibility criteria that must be met in order to have a dream come true.
