A great walking event to kick start your New Year fitness regime! Take in highlights of the Thames, its historic bridges and many of the capital’s key landmarks.

Take part as an individual, family or as a team and help raise vital funds for Dreams Come True.

There’s a free winter bobble hat & neck buff, rest stops with snacks, with a special medal and hot food at the finish.

All distance options start and finish at The Oval Cricket Ground – and are available on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 January.

10km - looped route heads along the Thames through the heart of the capital
Half Marathon - 21km loop past Tower Bridge to Southwark Park
Full Marathon – 42km figure of 8 starting and finishing at the Oval Cricket Ground

This event is strictly walking only, no jogging or running is allowed.

You have two options when signing up for a place to support Dreams Come True:

1. Charity Sponsorship – pay a small registration fee, do lots of fundraising and we cover the cost of your event place!

10km: Reg fee £10 and fundraising target £150
Half marathon: Reg fee £20 and fundraising target £225
Full marathon: Reg fee £30 and fundraising target £300

2. Mixed Funding – pay half of the event place cost yourself, fundraise a bit less and we pay the balance of the event place cost.

10km: Reg fee £25 and fundraising target £75
Half marathon: Reg fee £40 and fundraising target £120
Full marathon: Reg fee £50 and fundraising target £150

South West Coast 50 Challenge

A fantastic summer challenge, taking in the first Minehead section of the famous 630 mile Coastal Path and with a basecamp in the shadows of Dunster Castle. Walk, jog or run and choose from 10km, 25km or 50km.
Cotswold Way Challenge

Rolling hills, villages, the Cotswold Way, footpaths & trails, with fabulous views en route. Walk, jog or run and choose from 10km, 25km, 50km, 75km or 100km.
London Summer Walk

Walk and explore some of the Capital’s less known historic areas with a tour of the ‘gateway to London’ along the Thames’s eastern section.
Lake District Challenge

Take on England's finest countryside at your pace. Walk, jog or run and choose from 10km, 25km, 50km or 100km.
London 2 Brighton Challenge

Start at Richmond, then over the North Downs with wonderful Surrey & Sussex countryside. Walk, jog or run and choose from 25km, 50km, 75km or 100km.
Jurassic Coast Challenge

Explore the Jurassic Coast, from Corfe Castle to Swanage, Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door, with ups and downs to the Weymouth halfway point. Walk, jog or run and choose from 10km, 25km, 50km, 75km or 100km.
Isle of Wight Challenge

Great challenges need great settings - and none are better than the Island's coastal path. Walk, jog or run and choose from 10 mile, 25km, 50km, 75km or 100km.
Bungee Jump

Get your heart racing with a 160ft or 300ft Bungee Jump and choose from fantastic locations across the UK.

Make A Referral

We only accept referrals from medical, healthcare, or social care professionals. Applications are on a first come first served basis, to ensure that no child is waiting too long for delivery of their dream.

What is a Dream?

Whether it's a break for a young cancer patient, a specially adapted trike for a child with cerebral palsy, a tablet to help an autistic teenager develop their communication skills, or a seriously ill child’s room makeover. Each dream brings a moments of magic and has a lasting impact for years to come. More info

How it works

We work exclusively with, and only manage dream referrals from, those who know the Dreamers best –medical, healthcare and social care professionals.
Eligibility Criteria

To ensure we reach the children who need our attention the most, we have a set eligibility criteria that must be met in order to have a dream come true.

Bringing moments of magic that have a lasting impact for years to come. Our belief is that every young person has the right to dream, no matter who they are, or where they live.
