These Dreams are for a project which would deliver a bespoke Dream benefiting a large number of children and young people.

This could be for a Special Needs School where adapted trikes to aid mobility and peer to peer engagement or a sensory room – or a purpose built outside play area at a Community Centre serving children with the medical conditions that qualify for a Dream.

  • The Lancastrian School in West Didsbury, Manchester provides inclusive education for pupils aged 3 – 16yrs. Pupils have a wide range of needs including physical difficulties, complex medical conditions, communication needs and Autism across 14 classes. They requested 14 specially adapted trikes. The trikes will provide 5,063 hours of benefit per year defined as, inclusion, physical activity improved coordination and mental wellbeing for 90 children and young people per year. This impact is likely to be sustained for up to 4 years (the estimated life cycle of a trike).
