It’s now easier than ever to make a child’s dream come true this festive season, so why not forgo the office Secret Santa this year and give a gift that will make a real difference?

What is a Giving Tree?

Designed to be a fun alternative to the traditional Secret Santa, a Giving Tree is not only simple to get involved with but a fun exercise for the whole office!

The KidsOut’s Giving Tree has partnered with us and we are inviting companies and individuals to ‘Ditch Secret Santa’ and buy toys for children in local refuge homes and other children across the country who are in great need. The recipients are children who have escaped domestic abuse, being forced to flee their homes quickly and leave all possessions behind, as well as children who are living in the highest areas of deprivation in the country and are living with a disability, serious illness or life-limiting conditions.  Without our Giving Tree, these children may not otherwise receive a gift at Christmas nor have their dream come true.

Anyone can take part and organisations are encouraged to advertise the opportunity to staff via their Intranet or email so that even if they are working from home they can still participate as if they were in the office.

Who are Kid's Out?

KidsOut - the Fun and Happiness Charity, guarantees to provide that Gift or Day Out to a child in refuge over christmas and our new partnership for 2022 ensures your amazing support goes even further…

All items in the online shop are the most requested Toys and Days Out from children in refuge and Dreams for children in great need.

How does it work?

Taking part is simple. Here are four easy steps explaining the Giving Tree shop process:

1. Click Shop Now to be taken to the products and dreams pages.
2. Select the toys and dreams you would like to donate and purchase at the checkout. (Please note that the price charged includes some costs for distribution)
3. You will receive confirmation of your order but it will not be delivered to you but instead will be delivered to KidsOut for distribution to a refuge or to Dreams Come True to support a child in great need.
4. You will also be asked if you want to include Gift Aid on your donation.
