Later this - 25th September - is World Dream Day. Whoever you are, wherever you come from – we all have something in common. We ALL have dreams, goals, and aspirations. Here are three fun and free activities you can do with your children this World Dream Day.

1. Make a Dream Board

Write out a list of your dreams – draw them on a piece of paper, on the pavement with chalk, or cut out images from old magazines that represent those dreams. If you can hang the collage where you can see it or take a photo of it so you can remember! Don't forget to send us your photos we would love to see and share them!

This is a fun activity to do with friends, siblings or children and for the whole family.

2. Turn one of your dreams into a mini play!

A good one for a rainy day - act out your dream and perform it to friends and family. Raid a dressing up box, or be inventive and make costumes :) You could even ask for a small donation to Dreams Come True to help make dreams of other children become a reality.

3. Write or imagine a Dream Poem

You don’t have to be a poet to write a poem! You also don't have to write it down but you can say it out loud or make it up in your head. Here are some tips from The Children’s Poetry Archive to help you get started.

We would love to read your poems and Dream Day photos – tag us on social media with the hashtag #WorldDreamDay or email [email protected].

Would you consider giving a Dream Day Donation?

On average a dream costs over £2,000 to deliver. If you are able, please donate £5 to help us ensure that we can make the Dreams Come True for the children that really need our attention.
