There's always something you can do

No matter your age, location or whether you’re an individual or an entire society, there is always something you can do to support Dreams Come True. We are always on the lookout for inspiring and motivated students to make a difference to the lives of children and young adults with serious and life-limiting conditions. We will work alongside you every step of the way to make sure that your event or challenge is a huge success.

One off Fundraiser – Events & Campaigns

If your nursery, school, college or university would like to hold a one-off fundraiser for Dreams Come True the world really is your oyster! This could be anything you choose, or you could support a campaign we are running across the charity. Many education establishments may turn an event they already run into a fundraiser, such as a Christmas Fair, Sports Day or Dress Down Day. Our fundraising pack (available on request) can also provide you with an A – Z of fundraising ideas if you are stuck with what to do!

We also add an educational element to our campaigns, such as World Dream Day. A day for the pupils to think about what Dream Job or Career they may want in the future. For the younger pupils, they could dress as their dream job and talk about it in class, perhaps read a book about it with their friends. For the older children, this could be more about career planning, talking about what they have to do to be in their Dream Job when they leave school.

Charity of the Year

Are you a member of the RAG society at your university? Are you a member of the school PTA and want to choose one charity to benefit from school fundraising over the year? If so, why not put us forward for the Charity of the Year. By supporting Dreams Come True, you will be making a huge difference to the lives of so many special children and young people living around the UK.

RAG Raids (University)

Can you help us by organising a RAG Raid? Feel free to get in touch and we will work with you to make sure your Raid is safe and legal.

We will provide you with everything you need, from a letter of authorisation and t-shirts to buckets and stickers. Remember that you need the local council’s permission before you can legally collect on public property. You will also be required to obtain a charity collector’s permit but we can help you with this process.

Want more information about any of the above? Get in touch with us below  and we will be happy to help.
