How we make an impact

The last 31 years

Over the last three decades, we have had the privilege of fulfilling the dreams of over 6,000 children and young adults living with serious and life-limiting conditions. However, the reason we have been able to make such an impact on so many individuals is because of our fundraisers, volunteers and partners we've been supported by over the years.

We make an impact

In 2016, we collaborated with the University of Stirling on a pioneering study to assess the impact of dream fulfilment on the children, young adults that we support.

The Power of Dreams: assessing and measuring the impact of making dreams come true for life-limited children found that the planning and fulfilment of a dream experience provides children and their families with feelings of hope and positivity about the future, improved confidence and a sense of control and empowerment over their lives.
