London Summer Walk 2026 Get your walking shoes on and explore some of the Capital’s less known historic areas with a tour of the ‘gateway to London’ along the Thames’s eastern section and fundraise for Dreams Come True. Starting alongside the grandeur of Woolwich Barracks (short walk from Elizabeth Line, DLR, & Overground) – there’s a marathon looped route, which heads into the heart of the Capital, alongside a 25km option taking in Greenwich and a 10km option if you’re after something a bit shorter! Routes steeped in history with iconic sights, a lively warm up, full support all the way, rest stops with snacks & drinks, and capped with a BBQ meal, bar & music at the finish, making for a wonderful active end of summer celebration! Sign up and fundraising options: You have several options when signing up for a place to support Dreams Come True: Charity Sponsorship – Pay a small registration fee, commit to fundraising*, and we’ll cover the rest of your event place cost. Mixed Funding – Split the cost with us! You pay half of your event place, fundraise a little less*, and we’ll cover the remaining balance. Own Place Charity Fundraising – Purchase your own place and raise whatever you can for Dreams Come True (we pay a small admin fee). Please note: The registration fee for this event is non-refundable. *50% of the minimum sponsorship target should be with the Charity 6 weeks prior to the event. Failure to meet the fundraising deadline may result in cancellation of your place by the charity. The remaining 50% fundraising, should be with the Charity within 4 weeks of the event taking place.
