Angel's Dream Bedroom Makeover

Angel has spina bifida and hydrocephalus, which means she is paralysed from the waist down.

Her mum, Martina, is a single parent with five children. Angel’s dream was to have a bedroom makeover. “At one stage, Angel didn’t want anyone around her. She didn’t want anyone in that bedroom.

It wasn’t somewhere she could chill with her friends,” said Angel’s mum. “Now we can’t get her out the room. Her dream has come true.

All she wanted was for her bedroom to be done up. I could say thanks a thousand times, but for what you’ve done, ‘thank you’ isn’t enough,”

Angel’s mum told us. “She’s happy and I’m happy!” Given Angel’s mum would never have applied for a Dream, this is a great example of impact our work had on the whole family.

Make A Referral

We only accept referrals from medical, healthcare, or social care professionals. Applications are on a first come first served basis, to ensure that no child is waiting too long for delivery of their dream.

To ensure we reach the children who deserve our attention the most, we work with children who are living in the highest areas of deprivation in the country, and are living with a disability, serious illness, or life-limiting conditions. More info
