Zoe made dreams come true

Zoe was a Dream Co-ordinator at the charity from 2004 to 2013.  During that time, she helped many children and young people over the years fulfil their dreams.  She was also a key member of our Orlando group trip team and accompanied more than 60 families to Florida.

She was a warm, kind hearted and generous person with a great sense of fun.  Working for the charity was her dream job and she enjoyed nothing better than spending time with the dream families and supporters.

Zoe helped fulfil several meet and greet requests with Peter Andre and colleagues often joked it was her dream too.

She was popular with everyone and her enthusiasm and love for the charity saw her take on several fundraising events including the Great South Run, London 10K and the ice bucket challenge.  She even chose the charity’s colours for her marriage to Darren in August 2013 and the photo shows her and colleagues, Karen Yoxall, Martin Plowman, Wendy Gray and Michelle Chenery posing proudly with a charity banner.

The other photos are the 2009 group trip to Florida, getting ready for the 2012 group trip and celebrating with family and colleagues after the 2011 Great South Run.

Sadly Zoe passed away on 31 March after a long illness. She will be missed not only by everyone at Dreams Come True, but by all the families she tirelessly helped to make their dreams come true.
