World Down Syndrome Day 2019 Niamh and Benjamin Today marks World Down Syndrome Day in a bid to raise awareness for the condition that affects approximately 40,000 people in the UK. This year, two children with Down Syndrome will be going to Disneyland Paris. Fourteen year old Niamh will be travelling to Paris with her family in April and nine year old Benjamin hopes to see Disneyland Paris dazzle in festive lights over Christmas with his mother Eyanga and twin sister Hope.
