Host a Race Night for Dreams Come True

If you would like to host a Race Night in aid of Dreams Come True, but are unsure where to begin, then we have just the thing for you!

Shaun - one of our valued volunteers - kindly hosts Race Nights in the Surrey, Kent, Hampshire, Sussex & Essex areas on our behalf.

Shaun is a long-term supporter of Dreams Come True, who has been hosting Race Nights for several years with a lot of success.

What you need to know

A venue of your choice
The Event is Free to hold with everything supplied
We just ask that you sell a minimum of £100 worth of Owners Trainers and Jockey’s in advance
Locations; subject to availability Surrey, Kent, Hampshire, Sussex & Essex

From the funds raised on the night Shaun takes a small admin fee, as well as covering the cost of prizes, and the rest goes to Dreams Come True.

The Yorkshire Marathon is a popular and extremely picturesque event. It is an attractive event for all ages and abilities. Runners will be spoilt as they run past the beautiful city of York's gorgeous historic sites and fly down seemingly untouched country lanes.

This event has a reputation for its wonderful atmosphere, fast flat course and fantastic location.
Royal Parks Half Marathon

The stunning 13.1 mile route takes in the capital’s world-famous landmarks on closed roads, and four of London’s eight Royal Parks – Hyde Park, The Green Park, St James’s Park and Kensington Gardens.
Edinburgh Half Marathon 2022

Secure your place in the Edinburgh Half Marathon, this fast and flat course follows the route of the Full Marathon. As part of the Edinburgh Marathon festival it is a brilliant race that takes in the sites of Edinburgh, including Arthur’s Seat, Scottish Parliament and the National Museum of Scotland. With a descent of almost 90 metres to near sea level, it is believed to be one of the fastest half marathons route out there and great for those first time runners or those looking to get a PB.

We only accept referrals from medical, healthcare, or social care professionals. Applications are on a first come first served basis, to ensure that no child is waiting too long for delivery of their dream.

What is a Dream?

A dream offers hope for the future. It builds strength and resilience to fight another day. It helps stop a feeling of isolation. It provides something to make everyday life more bearable. Above all it inspires confidence, a sense of wellbeing and provides treasured family memories that last long after the dream has been granted. More info

We work exclusively with, and only manage dream referrals from, those who know the Dreamers best –medical, healthcare and social care professionals.

We directly support those children and young people with serious or life-limiting conditions, living in the hardest to reach and most deprived areas. Our belief is that every young person has the right to dream, no matter who they are, or where they live.
How do I volunteer?

Without our incredible volunteers, we wouldn’t be able to fulfil any of the dreams of the children and young people who live with serious and life-limiting conditions. More info
