Great North Run

The AJ Bell Great North Run is the world's largest half marathon (13.1 miles).  Join over 60,000 runners taking to the streets of Newcastle.  The event has an incredible atmosphere, starting in Newcastle upon Tyne and finishing by the sea in South Shields.

How we will support you?
Whether you have your own place or a charity place, we will be with you every step of the way.  We offer a fantastic supporter experience including:

• A Dreams Come True running vest
• Regular emails to keep you motivated
• A fundraising pack with tips and advice to help you reach your goals
• A friendly team to support you in the run up to your event

Apply for a Charity Place
We have a limited number of gold bond places available and ask you to pledge to raise £250 to help make dreams come true for children who have it tough.
Registration Fee (non-refundable): £25*
Fundraising Target: £250

*If your application is unsuccessful the £25 will be refunded

Already have your own place?
If you are lucky enough to get a ballot place, we’d love to have you on our #DreamTeam.  There is no minimum fundraising target, just raise as much as you can to help make more dreams come true for children who have it tough.  Get in touch so we can support you with your training and fundraising.
