Dreams Come True are proud to be members of the National Free Wills Network, which offers a free simple Will writing service to supporters using the services of local solicitors across the UK.

We understand you will want to look after those closest to you first when writing your Will and there is no obligation to leave Dreams Come True a gift but we sincerely hope that you will choose to do so – and help bring lasting joy to seriously ill children for years to come.

The lasting legacy of William and Ruth Lockley

In 2001 William and Ruth made joint Wills.

They wished the residue of their estate to be a gift to a charity which reflected their values about life. Their desire to use some of the money they had worked hard for to enrich the futures of children for whom life presented challenges and for whom a modest gift would have a real and lasting memory.

Ruth’s sister said: “in the final days of his (William’s) life, as he battled terminal illness, his greatest concern was that the legacy of their lives together should live on”

We would like to that William and Ruth, two very special people, who have made a real difference. We would also like to thank their family for allowing us to share their story to inspire others to leave a gift in their Will.

Make A Referral

We only accept referrals from medical, healthcare, or social care professionals. Applications are on a first come first served basis, to ensure that no child is waiting too long for delivery of their dream.
Who we support

To ensure we reach the children who deserve our attention the most, we work with children who are living in the highest areas of deprivation in the country, and are living with a disability, serious illness, or life-limiting conditions. More info

How it works

We work exclusively with, and only manage dream referrals from, those who know the Dreamers best –medical, healthcare and social care professionals.
