Host a Race Night for Dreams Come True

If you would like to host a Race Night in aid of Dreams Come True, but are unsure where to begin, then we have just the thing for you!

Shaun (one of our valued volunteers) kindly hosts Race Nights in the Surrey, Kent, Hampshire, Sussex & Essex areas on our behalf.

Shaun is a long-term supporter of Dreams Come True and has been hosting Race Nights for many years with a lot of success.

What you need to know

A venue of your choice
The event is free to host with everything supplied
We just ask that you sell a minimum of £100 worth of Owners Trainers and Jockey’s in advance
Locations - Surrey, Kent, Hampshire, Sussex & Essex (subject to availability)

From the funds raised on the night Shaun takes a small admin fee, as well as covering the cost of prizes, and the rest goes to Dreams Come True.

South West Coast 50 Challenge

A fantastic summer challenge, taking in the first Minehead section of the famous 630 mile Coastal Path and with a basecamp in the shadows of Dunster Castle. Walk, jog or run and choose from 10km, 25km or 50km.
Cotswold Way Challenge

Rolling hills, villages, the Cotswold Way, footpaths & trails, with fabulous views en route. Walk, jog or run and choose from 10km, 25km, 50km, 75km or 100km.
London Summer Walk

Walk and explore some of the Capital’s less known historic areas with a tour of the ‘gateway to London’ along the Thames’s eastern section.
Lake District Challenge

Take on England's finest countryside at your pace. Walk, jog or run and choose from 10km, 25km, 50km or 100km.
London 2 Brighton Challenge

Start at Richmond, then over the North Downs with wonderful Surrey & Sussex countryside. Walk, jog or run and choose from 25km, 50km, 75km or 100km.
Jurassic Coast Challenge

Explore the Jurassic Coast, from Corfe Castle to Swanage, Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door, with ups and downs to the Weymouth halfway point. Walk, jog or run and choose from 10km, 25km, 50km, 75km or 100km.
Isle of Wight Challenge

Great challenges need great settings - and none are better than the Island's coastal path. Walk, jog or run and choose from 10 mile, 25km, 50km, 75km or 100km.

What we do

Dreams Come True is a national Children's Charity who exists to deliver dreams to children who have it tough. We believe every child has the right to dream, no matter who they are or where they live. More info
Make A Referral

We only accept referrals from medical, healthcare, or social care professionals. Applications are on a first come first served basis, to ensure that no child is waiting too long for delivery of their dream.
Who we support

To ensure we reach the children who deserve our attention the most, we work with children who are living in the highest areas of deprivation in the country, and are living with a disability, serious illness, or life-limiting conditions. More info
What is a Dream?

Whether it's a break for a young cancer patient, a specially adapted trike for a child with cerebral palsy, a tablet to help an autistic teenager develop their communication skills, or a seriously ill child’s room makeover. Each dream brings a moments of magic and has a lasting impact for years to come. More info

We are always on the lookout for people who share our values and mission and are dedicated to making dreams come true for children who have it tough.
How it works

We work exclusively with, and only manage dream referrals from, those who know the Dreamers best –medical, healthcare and social care professionals.
Eligibility Criteria

To ensure we reach the children who need our attention the most, we have a set eligibility criteria that must be met in order to have a dream come true.
