Freddie & Autism Awareness Week Celebration of Autism Awareness Week 2019 There are around 700,000 people on the autism spectrum in the UK, which is more than 1 in 100. Autism Awareness Week aims to remove the stigma around the condition through awareness and understanding. Freddie is 10 years old and is on the autistic spectrum. Due to his serious health issues, Freddie struggles to travel, which has had an impact how him and his family spend their holidays. Mum Justine, decided against taking Freddie out of the country and wanted to focus on a UK break so they could have a relaxing start to 2019. In January, Dreams Come True arranged for Freddie and his family to go to Centre Parcs, the award-winning family UK breaks and holidays resort. The whole family had a wonderful time, especially Freddie who told Dreams Come True: “Thank you soooo much for my Center parcs break. I had such a lovely time. I especially loved the pool, the lazy river, the tandem bike, my big lodge and just all of it. My favourite holiday so far and mummy and Joseph loved it too. Thank you.” - Freddie To make more dreams like Freddie’s come true, visit our donations page here. Manage Cookie Preferences
