7 year old Alice lives with autism and struggles to relax in her home. She's very strong and likes to climb and break things. Specially designed ‘tough furniture’ will mean she can be in her bedroom and mum doesn't have to worry about things being damaged. Read more

Zahra was referred for a dream from her school. They told us: “she loves lions, so an experience where she can meet lions close up would be amazing. Halton Lodge Children’s Centre recently had the launch of their re-fitted sensory room which will bring essential sensory stimulation for children in the local area living with a disability, serious illness or life limiting condition. Tavyian, 9, lives with Downs Syndrome and came to us with a dream of an adapted trike, with a basket, as he loves to take his teddies and books with him. He suffers significant pain in his back and feet if he is standing or walking for any length of time. This makes it difficult to go anywhere, as he is too heavy to carry. Read more
He lives with Dravet Syndrome and experiences the full range of symptoms, so he suffers from life threatening seizures that require urgent medical treatment, and an absence of awareness of danger in his surroundings. This means he needs constant supervision both at home and while out and about to ensure he doesn’t come to any harm. His condition has been gradually increasing in severity, his mum describes day to day life with Alfie as ‘living on a knife edge’. Read more
Jayden, 8, is non-verbal, and his autism results in significant impairment in his social interactions and social communication. Staff and pupils at Victoria School recently celebrated the arrival of a ‘Dream’ delivery, in the form of six specially adapted trikes that have been donated by national Charity, Dreams Come True. Victoria School in Northfield is a community special school maintained by Birmingham City Council, catering for the needs of 230 students aged from 2 to 19 years who have cognition and learning difficulties, physical disabilities and complex health needs. Luke has recently turned 21 and is a massive Marvel fan. He is still receiving ongoing after care as a result of bravely battling with B Cell Lymphoma. Toby is 15 years old and suffers from Epidermolysis bullosa. Foster Mum says that he is a real people watcher and loves sitting in cafes with her watching the world go by.
